this first came out some years back on tunzis cool clips 3 or 4 and it was great to see . No doubt E.P. was very proud of that award and rightfuly so as he truly was a great man , a great humanitarian , and it is the least his country could do to honour him , after all he did so much for so many differn't charities , people , fans , family etc, i sure wish the uss arizona plaque would be put back up again he surly deserves it. I t is this award that i point to and talk about to joe public when they claim that ELVS was nothing but a drug addict.

Never seen this short documental before, thanks for sharing, to bad there is no sound for the press conference segments where he is being asked questions after the ceremony. Someday that might appear, I'll cross my fingers.

I just don't get it that people don't see Elvis as he was. A great human being, great entertainer. I think people are lost. They only want to hear what they hear, believe what they want to believe. It's sad. Ofcource Elvis made choices that he wasn't proud off. But he was human like we all. And we all made bad choices. That's the life is all about! Learn from our mistakes.
Well I'm proud of being an Elvis-fan. Because we see things in a differnt way like others. Elvis thought us to be respectful, loving and caring. I hope someday others will look at it this way too. I'm sure that the world would look more brighter then it is now. Elvis wanted us to hear and learn from our mistakes and he was right. Hopefully we all learn from him.
