It's from the Beatles Anthology. Pretty funny.
It's great! Thank you Franny!![]()
how do you set out for Elvis' house and forget on the way where you're going
unless you're already stoned or smoking.....

You don't and that's why I was never all that impressed with the Beatles. That and I always felt they sanctioned drugs so much and the kids who idolized them thought it was cool and then the drug culture began and has not stopped since.
Elvis never did this, he spoke out against drugs and although he was on prescription meds he didn't consider them to be dangerous and never mentioned them to his fans.
Great clip! Thanks for sharing Franny.
Great interview - it's funny that they say they couldn't be friends with Elvis - that didn't happen because of him being protected.
Funny to hear it from them, because they couldn't have friends either, they were lucky they had each other - and yet we know how THAT turned out, too!
Oh well, it's a good thing I'm just a little ole gal living in Texas surrounded by family & friends & lots of Elvis
friends...
Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go
Ringo in an interview said that Elvis was alone at the top-no one to fully understand the feeling and weight of his unprecedented fame-Ringo pointed out that the Beatles all had each other, and when one of them got off track or had a problem-they had the other 3 to help pull them back on course.
Work in Progress!
Sorry, I know several people who idolized them, thought they were cool, took the drugs to emulate them and ruined their lives and their families. They were NOT a good example for young kids.
John was the most idolized and never did get clean........
Unfortunately you are right but which one started it all? Not sure if it was the Beatles or not but they sure were influential to a lot of kids in this country and a lot died. Great ordinary kids and entertainers are still dying.......
