    Hey thanks for sharing this. Big fan of The Doors myself.

    Elvis did was a crusial influence on Jim both on his singing style but also on his on stage daring attitude.

    On the book: "Wilderness: The Lost Writings of Jim Morrison", there is this Morrison writing about Elvis and his own singing:

    "Elvis had sex-wise mature voice at 19. Mine still retains the nasal whine of a repressed adolescent minor squeaks & furies...".

    In the article "Heartbreak Hotel" & "Love Me Tender" are quoted as songs done by Morrison on stage, a song they did more often was "Mystery Train" on a medley with a Morrison son "Farway in India", can't fin a youtube video with it. But the medley has been released officialy live and in the studio during the 90's.
