    Watching ELvis Movies

Hey Fellow ELvis fans I know the movies elvis made in the 60s were not the best but they are defintley fun to watch and while watching them you have to take them for what they are they are good clean fun movies with some pretty good and fun music included in them yeah some of the songs were really bad(old mcdonald, dominick and a few others) but i just think they are fun to watch when you are feeling down

Just a few observations while watching some elvis flims this week. Elvis will always be #1 and the best entertainer ever!!!!!!!

Have always loved the movies, my nephew has grown up with them and enjoys them for what they are - FUN!
He is 19 now and still likes to watch them when he stops by for a visit!
Think you can find something to like in all of Elvis movies.

he made some good movies in the 60s too, movies like viva las vegas, roustabout, wild in the country,gi blues, kid galahad, girls, girls, girl, and a couple more, these films would of been blockbusters today, elvis was a good actor and his role in king creole proved that but most of these movie elvis made were made solely for the purpose of the studios to make money, and though some of the scripts were probably made in about ten minutes elvis presley still turned everyone of them into hits,

Yes Elvis films were almost always fun, just a fantasy world, where boy meets girl, boy loses girl.....in the end.... boy gets girl. Songs in ridiculous places and fighting at the drop of a hand-you could forget your troubles in life for 90 minutes and feel a little better when it was over!
    Work in Progress!

I think that what I enjoy most about them is that they give you a break from the violence and the obsession with gore that so many of todays movies seem to have...plus you don`t need a degree in science to keep up with the story.the world is usually bright, happy and in technicolor..the hero wins the day and gets the girl...and every now and then there`s a song to sing...good,simple fun.

I don't think they are as bad as many of the action movies of today... the world is about to be destroyed, a smart as* saves it and to top it all he gets the girl. Some Elvis movies are good.

I have to agree with this too. You never come away from an Elvis movie feeling depressed except for his first one Love Me Tender where they killed him off.

Yes very true watching elvis's movies you get forget about all of your troubles in 90 minutes and some happy music especially when the movie ended with a song like happy ending(it happened at the worlds fair) or there's a brand new day on the horizion(from roustabout or everybody come aboard(from frankie and johnny) etc. Watching them are just fun and is not filled with violence like todays movies are
