Shake, Rattle & Roll Event to Kick Off Elvis Week: Elvis Week 2010 will now officially kick off tomorrow, Tuesday with the event, Shake Rattle & Roll at the Shell, to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

The festivites will be held at the historic Levitt Shell, formerly known as "The Overton Park Shell," where Elvis played his first concert in Memphis. At 7 p.m., Elvis Week 2010 officially begins with a concert by the award-winning Elvis tribute artist Donny Edwards. The evening will also feature celebrity guests, a silent auction, and a free outdoor screening of "Jailhouse Rock" in celebration of The Elvis 75th Anniversary DVD Collection.
Doors for the general admission event open at 6 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m. The movie will start at approximately 8:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and sit under the stars.
