Is it true that every morning at graceland when the gates are opend you can here a voice announce this... I was wondering if there is a recording of this moment... I would love to hear this...

Hey, that's a pretty cool video. I never seen the gates being opened before. I know at Graceland they broadcast Elvis Radio and I know one time when I was listening to it (It was early in the morning) the DJ announced on the radio that the gates were being opened. So maybe that's where it comes from?

Oooh, that gave me tingles watching that. I could almost see a black cadillac appearing in the picture with Elvis driving just after the gates opened, and then him driving through.

That's a good explenation indeed, you can hear graceland radio all over the graceland property and that could be where it came from... maby there is a recording source on the internet.

I know that the Gates are open early in the morning every day to let people walk up to the grave for free,i did this whenever i would visit Graceland.

I have done this also... every time it feels amazing... It gives me teers in my eyes thinking of the time I walked the drive-way up to his graveside all alone and no one around on the grounds aroudnd me...
but I never knew there was a early norning announcement every day.

During EW they're also allowing people to walk up to his gravesite from 7PM - 9PM for free. It'll be nice if they could do this for the rest of the year.

they do... Just after Elvis died and his body was placed at graceland Vernon said it was oke for fans to come and visit Elvis graveside for free. After 1982 (opening Graceland) they made this a tradition...
