It has been about 104 degrees here in Texas this August so far in 2010. I was wandering if anyone knows about what temperature it was the August Elvis died? Hopefully it was cooler than this August. If anyone knows please let me know thanks alot. Gerald!!
It was hot hot hot!!! Do you remember seeing all the people lying on the grounds of Graceland? That was because people were falling out due to the heat. I don't remember what it was the day he died but I assume since it was so hot on the 17th that it was probably close to the same on the 16th.

I has been about 110 here in Georgia too. All my life it has been hot here in the South in the month of August, so I imagine it was sweltering too on August 16,1977.
