I plan on going and I'm taking my 12 year old son. The movie is playing in a theater about 10 miles from my home. Really excited !!!!
I definitely plan on going. It'll be the first time since 1972 when I was just a child that I last went to see Elvis in theaters. Hats off to Time-Warner for making this happen.![]()

If your an Elvis fan, no explanation is necessary....
If your not, no explanation is possible!
i wonder if it will make it to the movies in Australia
I never looked for trouble but I never ran.
I'm going. I should get the tickets now so I don't forget.
Apart from a PR exercise to boost sales of the new 'Elvis On Tour' packages the theatre presentations may also be a 'sounding board' for EPE to judge whether ticket sales justify bringing 'Elvis In Concert' back to the U.S.A. Just a thought.
The IMAX presentation in Houston of 'On Tour' should be awesome.

I found this on another site. It lists every single theater and location that EOT will be playing at. http://www.ncm.com/FathomContent/PDF...port_Elvis.pdf
I am going.![]()
I dream a world where man no other man
will scorn. Where LOVE will bless the earth
and peace its paths adorn...
It's not playing anywhere near where I live![]()
Actually, I was quite surprised to see that EOT would be playing near me. Usually this type of stuff only shows up in the big cities downstate, like Albany and New York City!
So I am DEFINITELY going to see EOT!!! My first experience seeing Elvis on the big screen was when I was in Memphis for the premiere of TTWII - SE during Elvis Week 2000, and all I can say is WOW!!!! There is NOTHING like seeing Elvis on the big screen, so I am not going to miss EOT on the big screen for sure!!!!

Those who are going will have to tell the rest of us what the 'un-seen footage is'![]()
I am going with the whole family and some friends for sureI am glad that E.O.T.is being shown at over 300 Movie Theaters nation wide, this should be promoted alot to let everyone know, and not just big Elvis fans but everyone should know. This is a great opportunity to bring Elvis back into the public eye on a big scale. Its too bad that its one night only,so i will have to stay at the movie theater all day and watch it a few times. This is going to be ultra awesome

I hope all who go, enjoy the movie on the big screen.
They're not playing it in Canadabummer
The Legends
Its playing July 29th at a theater near my city-I'll be going.
I saw it 3 times in 1972 and it was fantastic on the big screen.
Work in Progress!
Well since EPE has nothing to do with this theater re-release (they do not own EOT) I would doubt the purpose of re-releasing it has anything at all to do with EIC-or EPE....... but EPE will love the free publicity that it generates......
EPE still has no plans to release EIC to the public.
Work in Progress!
Bought and printed my tickets yesterday for the show!!! Can't wait to see EOT on the BIG screen...it will be SO amazing!!!

Since the 1972 release runs about 93 minutes-and the run time for this re-release is listed at 125 minutes it seems that there is added footage.
(Although... it could be that the EOT footage that was in the "Lost Performances" vhs release could be included in this DVD release)
