    Paying Tribute to The King

So this is about your favourite Artists/Bands, doing Elvis, why? for no other reason than the same, that bring us all together over here at TCB, they like Elvis as much as you do.

We have read over and over quotes from people in the music world, stating how much they love Elvis, and how influential he is to their own art. Well in this thread lets share those moments when one of those artists pay tribute to Elvis not in words but in music.

I call for youtube, audioclips and stuff of your favourite artists/Bands covering Elvis Presley, stating: yes I love that man.

Think this could be fun and give us quite a collection of nice Elvis tribute clips.

    Enjoy then!

    WARNING!!!
Please, this is NOT about tribute artists/impersonactors, but about people with a musical career of their own.

So I'll start with a well known act, that Lennon screaming his lungs out: Elvis I LOVE YOU (minute 2:49), the guy that once said: before Elvis there was nothing.

Here is Johnny, doing "You ain't nothing but a Hound Dog", at N.Y.'s Madison Square Garden. This is 1972, YES, about a month or so Elvis own stop at the Garden. If Lennon or not was present at Elvis gigs at the MSG in '72 is a matter of debate. What is not is: George Harrison did was, and Lennon, Lennon loved Elvis Presley.

This not my favourite band, but I do like how they sang this song...

and I also found the same song, sung by Richard Marx, I never knew there was a version by him.

All right!!! this is going well.

Now if Im allowed, let's go back to 1971, and here they are, jamming on That's All Right and a Mess of Blues, some serious Elvis fans, yes, the Led Zeppelin.

Those two Elvis songs where done on a medley, with their "own" Whole Lotta Love and two other blues songs.

Oh man, when the Gods got together!, here is Eric Clapton, (a.k.a. God) doing one of my all time favourite songs, Mystery Train, side by side with the one and only Scotty Moore, Elvis original guitar man, and one of the main architects of rock and rockabilly guitar.

If you all don't love this...

And if you Do like it, here is:
