    have you ever been burned?

i recently have bin burned on another trade i did with another fan- i recently bought a collection from a guy in the netherlands and ended up with many doubles of books and cd's so i listed them to trade and had some very good trades with 3 other fans and got burned with the 4th fan over on another forum, i hate when this happens because it makes you leary of ever trading again as most fans are honest, i know of another who is on this board who is also a rogue trader . So my question is have you ever bin burned and has it stopped you from trading? if this post is in the wrong place or not permited my appoligise to the moderators please cancel it i understand.

whoah! Sorry that had to happen to you. I haven't traded with fans, I haven't gotten to the point where I need to
unload my collection or have doubles of anything.
I have been burned by sellers! Listing their books as "mint" when they're not!

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

I've had my bad share of trades gone bad. One thing is though, if your a new Elvis fan, young and make a big trade if something goes wrong its automatically your fault and you are written off as a bad egg, and no one cares to listen to your story, had that happen to me but after that have made some good trades with some good people since that incident. I've bought Cd's from ebay with the seller listing them as mint originals and they were simply CD'rs with printed covers, thats pretty crappy to do if you ask me.

    Okee friends.

We get the idea about this. No need to discuss this on a public messageboard or site.

So please, do not continue this conversation.

    I have deleted both reactions.

I would like to simply answer this thread. Yes I've been burned happened yesterday, someone claiming I ripped them off some books and I never did. The ironic thing is I don't even know who they are so to see them saying my name and that I ripped them off when I don't even know who they are is baffling to say the least.
