Question about Elvis recording rights post 72

I know that Elvis and the Colonel signed over the rights to the back catalog in 1973 and retained royalties from after that up to his death. So my question is, does EPE/Sillerman just own royalties to post 72 material or copyright studio recordings to all songs recorded from July 1973 to October 1976 or are live recordings from 73-77 also included in that deal?

EPE/Sillerman just have royalty rights to post 1972 material.

live recordings that were recorded after 1972 weren't included in the deal.

What about recordings made prior to 1972 and sang live post 1972, is there known cases of songs being dropped because of this?

A live version of a song recorded prior to 1973 doesn't count it is counted as if it were a new song.

Yes if Elvis rerecorded songs live such as Hound Dog from 73 on-he would receive royaltees for that new recording-but not from the original recording from 1956 or for instance from the 68 Elvis Comeback Special. So anything recorded before 73 Sony owns it outright.
