Cool ELVIS AND THE COLONEL. IS THIS TRUE.

IN A BOOK I HAVE FROM 88 CALED ELVIS. THERE IS A ARTIKEL THAT SAYS: COLONEL TOM PARKER MANAGED ELVISī LIFE UNTIL 22 JAN. 1976. WHEN THEY PARTED WAYS.

Parker continued to manage Elvis into the 80's when the estate finally sued him

Elvis and Parker had a huge fight and nearly severed their business relationship, but it never came to pass

Funny how Elvis was so loyal to Parker - and yet was so willing to throw over Scotty and Bill, Bob Neal and others who helped him in the early days

no, it is false, though Elvis and the Colonel should have parted ways in 1973 for the betterment of his career

not true as the colonel was preparing shipments of Elvis records to stores in cities where elvis was about to play, days before he died
and the colonel came up with a new marketing slogan immediately after his death "Always Elvis"

Tom Parker obviously had a deep phsycological hold over him, that went to the core of Elvis' insecurities, which he used against him.

I totally agree but I think at the end it was wearing thin I so wish Elvis had lived to get rid of him...I honestly think he would have done it at that time.
