home is where the heart is

it seems after the last tour in 77 that ELVIS wanted to relax , and he sure did alot of it in the home he loved most[graceland] but if you believe what you read he spent most of his days inside, and locked away in his bedroom. and we know that this isn;t true as he had lisa around and he rented the local amusement park, and also went out driving his electric blue trike, and also played some raquet ball, and acording to ginger was in good spirits and loved being home. I still wonder if GRACELAND was where his heart was , with 3 other homes in la and palm springs, it seems he always loved comming home and GRACELAND seemed to truly be home, thankfully he died at home and not in l.a.[could you imagine the circus that would be].

as in Elvis' own words......'he could be sneeky'...........

When we were in Memphis, a lady who owns a property backing onto Graceland told us the story of many times Elvis went out over her garden fence, and he waited for the MM to come and pick him up...........

    this is her house

He had to be sneaky, there was hardly ever a time when there wasn't a horde of fans at the front gates of Graceland.....good for him, he thought of ways to get around them!
