it seems to me that durring the years that i saw ELVIS [april 72], and then followed him durrong his spring tour of 77, that his security team had become depleted. I was always amazed that no one attempted to shoot him while he was sitting on the left handside of the limo this would have bin easy believe you me as many of us fans got real close to him especially in cincinatti, and another thing was that the 3 guys who were later fired were not in greater shape than ELVIS himself as they had weight problems to, in this day and age i can only wonder if ELVIS security was any good.

so they clearly were up to the task

I have to wonder though, how many of the threats were ever followed up with action by the person who made the threat?

It seems to me that if you want to kill someone, you don't tip them off first
