YES!
It's quite true that FTD has released some of the same items that are (and have been) available on import (bootleg) titles. However, you have to realize that there's a lot of fans that do not have access to, or would rather not deal with, obtaining import/boot music releases. Therefore, there needs to be an avenue for those fans who wish to go the "legal" purchasing route.
I'm a solid supporter of FTD. I think Ernst J and his team have done a fantastic job with the releases they have provided us to this point (although I think it's past time in cutting back on those 76 concert releases).
Of course there's still tons of material that I (and I'm sure many of us) want to see released and question why it hasn't been released already - fair point. However, I remember back when I started collecting Elvis' music in 1990. There was hardly anything like what we have now from FTD available then.
While the import/boot labels have delivered us many-many great titles featuring outstanding material, and titles that yes FTD should have tried to release already (here we go again LOL), they (FTD) spoil us with releases every few months.
So I thank you FTD, and keep on rocking!!!![]()
