    is collecting ELVIS

is collecting ELVIS an addiction ? i know for me it is something that i along with many fans like you enjoy , i was watching a show about adictions and i thought to myself that i may have a real adiction here , its bin with me for 42 years and i love to add to it and i'm always in touch with ELVIS friends now on a daily basis thanx to the net , i guess we are the lucky ones who enjoy our addiction[if that's what it is ] as long as were not hurting anyone i would think that this is ok .

If collecting Elvis items is really an addiction, I don't ever want to get over it, for I enjoy everything in my collection..

My "addiction" ebbs & flows. I use to buy collector cards, that came out a few years ago. I had the strong urge to buy a pack everyday (like cigarettes) I'm on TCB everyday. I guess i/we need Elvis rehab..no we don'tEnjoy Elvis as long as you can...life is too short to worry about it!

it's only an addiction if you are spending the rent or grocery money on Elvis items.

Or, like that gal in the UK, stealing from her employer.

if you spend your free cash on Elvis, keep your spending reasonable

and it's not the main focus of your life

then no, it's not an addiction, it's a fan/hobby thing

Collecting Elvis is not really an addiction, but a wonderful hobby! Now, I do admit to being addicted to Elvis!

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

I agree with this view. Also, with all those who mentioned the positive aspects EP brings into our lives, this is why I will always love "Elvis Stuff".
