I think he may have been around a while longer...at least I hope so. She was very good for him but I can understand why she left feeling she couldn't do him any good and hating to see him destroy himself, although I think she was wrong in that assumption that her staying wouldn't change anything.

I still there is more to the story with linda leaving than what we know. I think elvis and linda were already heading in different directions before she left or why would she go with david so quick? This is just my opinion anyhow.
on The Memphis tour we did in Jan, we went past the house Elvis bought Linda in 75.
Why??......was he trying to gently ease her out??

Makes you wonder?? I really don't think elvis and linda were all that close before she left and l think elvis buying her that house was elvis way of letting her go and elvis didn't look all torn up after linda at all. I do think elvis falls for woman to fast and than gets fed up after awhile.

I don't believe she would have affected any change had she been around longer.
I agree in that I believe there is more to the story.
I think the relationship was more tenous for a much longer time than the picture that has been painted.
She was with David Briggs before they split up.
Price of indiscretion/retaliation???
Some have linked the redecoration of Graceland by LT to E's penance for having Sheila Ryan in Memphis with him for eight days.
Obviously, it wasn't the only time he got hit in the pocketbook.
I have read where people at Graceland viewed her as a gold-digger.
Or maybe, as suggested, he was trying to ease her out.....
It's hard to say.
For some reason, I have tended to view that relationship as really strange - perhaps moreso than the others.

Yeah, it's bad to see Linda with too much plastic surgery. Both her and Priscilla were gorgeous women and vanity got the best of them.
It's good to see Joe happy. Someone told me about a year ago that he's a limo drive in Vegas or something.
I don't think any romantic relationship of Elvis could last or go right. This might sound bad, but I think he chose all his girls for the wrong reasons, to be his nurses, for companionship, to have his baby, to show off... I think the meaning of falling in love to him had little to do with love and much with his own interests. That way of thinking was what never allowed him to find real love in my opinion.

Well, he did a couple of years back. I have just found this on the internet.
Author of the authoritative “Remember Elvis” and “Elvis Straight Up,” Esposito is no longer a host at Wynn Las Vegas, but says he is traveling the world making appearances and talking about the days of Elvis. West is, too, a noteworthy Presley scribe, author of “Elvis: Still Taking Care of Business

I agree goldigger plus plastic or un plastic don't help and you notice she can't keep aman,, she's 60 now and should dress and act her age and stay off of the hills,, that's brodys life.
That's scary!!!!
People are allowed to dress how they wish. They think it suits them and they look good, that's up to them!
When looking at both of them, you can see its Joe. But looking at Linda and if you compare it to a photo of the early seventies, it just looks like a completely different person. The surgery hasn't done her any favours. Shame. I like Linda. She comes across as very kind.
She should have aged gracefully...
