Barbara Leigh was with Elvis through his hospital stay in Nashville. On the Friday he was discharged, Barbara flew back to LA and JBova flew into Nashville. She met Elvis at the airport and accompanied him on the flight back to Memphis. JBova stayed with Elvis for a few days at Graceland.

Careless Love notes an eye injection in Nashville only.

Only reporting what I have read!!!

I don't read this book, but,Yes,you right,I remembered wrong!Infact in Careless Love don't tell that, but only what you said.

Did anyone happen to catch Saturday Night Live last night? The anchorman segment featured a photo of Elvis overweigth and tired looking, my first reaction was "Oh NO!"
They had Dr. Nick's quote about Elvis' illness and then panned to Dr. Nick's New Book (entitled) "I'm A Bad Doctor" It cracked me up!

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

Do believe a lot of people here this crap in newspapers?

I just finished Dr. Nick's book and in my opinion it is a good book. It's written in a sincere and respectful way.
To be honest I was a little suspect as I knew about the book at first. But my concerns not come true. Dr. Nick tells about how it cames to be Elvis Doctor and of what kind of deases he suffered and how they was treated by him. He show up how it came to all the rumors of a dead caused by overdosis of prescribtion drugs and how start his law-suits against him.
In my mind he was a very welcome sacrificial lamb- even for the press.
True is that Elvis was sick like a dog and a lot of other medical specialist like Dr. Meridian, Dr. Brokoff, Dr. Tennant ect. stated that cause of Elvis death was not an overdose.
Read at first the book and then judge.
The biggest part of Elvis is his heart; it is full of love for everyone

Agree with you . The best book about Elvis I've read in years.
No gossip, no put downs, explanations on many things.
IF anyone will pay attention, will give Elvis back a little dignity & humaness .
Wish he'd written this years ago.I'm thankful he's tried anyway.

Like everyone else.. Was very skeptical of this book.Almost didn't get it.
Was pleasantly surprised. He explains a lot that's in other books & tabloids .
I enjoyed the telling of his & Elvis' families times together the most.
It was a breath of fresh air. He doesn't take sides ,just tells it like it was.
Hope he can make the laughter & jokes stop. It's way past time.
