    Plaque on Audubon Drive

There are still enough places in Memphis that are playing an important part in Elvis' life and that are not ready to be demolished. Even better; some of those places did get a complete make over. There is the first house that Elvis bought on the Audubon Drive. For the first time in history, there is now a plaque that states the importance of the house in the history of the city.

Thanks for posting. The Mike Curb Foundation owns it now, so is it open for tours? They are using it how? Just curious, not jumping on the Foundation. I'm all for Music Education.

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go
