I recall Jerry Schilling saying that he threw all that footage in the trash.

Do you mean Jerry says he originally threw all the outtakes away in 1972 or are you saying he threw them all away recently????
Either way why would Jerry have any sayso over the EOT film at all???since we all know its not owned by EPE.

Hmmm....I find that hard to believe, especially since outtakes have been floating around the import video market for the last couple of years.

he threw it away in 1972

Jerry worked on the editing of the film and worked with Martin Scorcese (not spelled right) as well.
Jerry got into the film as assistant editor or someting like that for a brief time and EOT was one of the films he worked on.

He probably had some of the unused film in his possesion that he was working on.

If Jerry still had the footage and tried to release it he probably would be sued.
