There are still enough places in Memphis that are playing an important part in Elvis' life and that are not ready to be demolished. Even better; some of those places did get a complete make over. There is the first house that Elvis bought on the Audubon Drive. For the first time in history, there is now a plaque that states the importance of the house in the history of the city.
