I think that's the the Jackson death certainly fueled his taking the top 2 spots
I had voted early, but then stopped because Elvis was so far back
the problem with the poll is the same as any internet poll - it's skewed to a limited demographic
the results would be different if the poll had been done by phone in a representative population sample
Yeah, ol' Squeaky Boy's death certainly played a part in the result.
His fans, cleverly, waited until we (and fans of other artists) had backed off.

I don`t think these polls mean anything anyway,so what if Elvis didn`t make the top ten? He is still miles ahead of most of these people in terms of influence and lasting appeal. I`m not suddenly going to fly to America and spend $2 on a Janet Jackson ticket...or whatever they sell for.... I mean,she`s ahead of Elvis in the poll...she must be dynamite on stage....or is she?![]()
