I would like to start a Birthday thread, for the King!
By honoring him with a special poem I wrote dreaming about him one night.
Silver Land
I was drifting through a Silver Land
With tree's of pure White Snow.
Stars were bright against the sky,
Without a night to hold.
Mountains they were Crystal
Beaches Diamond sand,
How I loved just drifting,
Through this Distant Silver Land.
Mirrored waters Sparkling
With many rainbow hues,
The wind was music whispering,
To a Moon like Golden Jewel.
Could this be tomorrow?
A glimpse within my hand,
For when I dream, I'm drifting
Through this Magic Silver land.
I LOVE YOU ELVIS! For 63 Years & Forever!

Great posters everyone! And whoever is going to BW, have fun & post your photos here!
Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go
I think it´s a bit too early to wish him a happy birthday. I´ll wish him a happy birthday on his birthday.
If I Can DreamIf I Can DreamIf I can Dream
Happy Birthday Elvis will still love you xxxxx
Happy Birthday Elvis Presley!
"facit omnia voluntas"
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELVIS!LONG LIFE TO KING!
Found this on the internet today:
------------------------------------------
Todd himself met Elvis on three times, the first when he was with fellow Elvis fan, Radio Luxembourg DJ Tony Prince.
"Nothing prepared me for meeting him.
"The amazing thing was you didn't realise he was there. You'd be in the room and he wasn't there and then suddenly he was, but there was no fanfare, no build up...he was just there, he just appeared.
"He wasn't a public speaker - some stars get their kicks from all the attention wherever they are, but he wasn't like that. He was very shy.
--------------
It surprised me - because everyone else says he had that much charisma you KNEW when he entered a room!!
Happy birthday Elvis, I love you, I wrote this poem straight from my heart just for you.
Elvis the Man
You were the one who taught me to sing
I learned from you the power of song
you taught me to sing from the gut
and in each lyric feel the emotion rise and fall
On stage you entranced us
and moved us with your voice
Your movements and sense of humour
were really out of sight
I don’t understand why they judge you
cos they’ve never walked in your shoes
they don’t know what its like to tread your steps
they don’t know what its like to be you
You brought so much joy and touched so many hearts
With your voice so beautiful, so gentle and so strong
You lifted our spirits time and time again
I’m amazed at all the years you coped with your fame
They look at the image and don’t see the man beneath
the man with deep emotions, trying to cope with his grief
they don’t see the pain and the tears
cos on stage they’re not there
the image is one thing, the human being is another
I’ll remember the way you smiled
the way you laughed and sang
but also I’ll remember Elvis the man
much love and manyMaria
You ask how long I love you, I'll tell you true,
until the Twelfth of Never, I'll still be loving you
