I must admit, I'm a fan of Sandi's
She is available to
everyone. That's how she is. Sandi wants to share her love of Elvis. How he cared for people, his personality, his humour, his seriousness.
How the stories in books were mixed up, and changed - Sandi helped me to try to explain the other side of things.
Reading Sandi's recollections to me, from her journalised version, versus the second hand or third hand stories, from someone who wasn't there's published book version, broke my heart. The differences! I felt impotent and protective, and yes, mad. All I wanted to do, was to help, my heart broke.
There is another statement that I will share, which is more serious. Whenever I read more, my esteem and like for Sandi always reaches new heights, because of her insights, and ability to express them.
Sandi is truthful, she is giving, not taking, but giving
