    Dixie Locke question

Does anybody know when Elvis met Dixie the last time and if she saw any of his '70s concerts?

The last time she saw him was at Graceland the day after his mother's funeral .

They certainly were a great match... I'd like to know if she saw him in the '70s or what did she think when she saw the Aloha show or EOT...

She never saw him again, after going to Graceland the day after his mother's funeral, she never went to any of his concerts. I guess we will never know what she thought, I'm sure if she saw his TV specials, of course she would like them.

I would think her husband may not have been that interested in seeing Elvis live-and that may have been a factor in her never seeing Elvis in the 1970s.
Its natural that her husband would not like the old boyfriend-most husbands do not, now add the fact that the old boyfriend is ELVIS and that makes it a double whammy!

So true! No one could expect to "compete" with Elvis, IMO

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

It must be a very special feeling for Dixie to know Elvis's entire lifestory and she was his first serious girlfriend when he was really before the big jump... I wonder what she thinks about his later work and image, and what did she think when Elvis died... I just kinda like her and would be interested in these things.. but she's not that open type like Linda or Sheila..

I think too! Also lucky her!She loves Elvis just for Elvis! Not for Elvis Presley! And for Me,my personal opinion,is the only girl that was in love of Elvis just for his person! Not for other things....................!And I think, she think only great things about Elvis!I'm sure of this!About his dead?Well, that's a orrible thing,of course! He was his first love! And the fact, she is not so open like Linda,Sheila or priscilla, especially her, well this tell EVERYTHING!She truly RESPECT Elvis!
