I think e-books will continue to catch on bigger and bigger as years go by, but I can't see me ever going to them. I like having the physical book too much.

I get what you're saying, JDD. my hubby feels exactly the same way only - to the extreme! Me, if I could store ~1500 books in one little device - well, I could certainly add more Elvis picture books

This is one of those times when I feel old! I don`t think much of the whole "e-book" thing...nothing like a good old,dog-eared book that has followed you around for years,nothing like sticking a book up to your face and having a good sniff of it,or looking in a book that you had put safely away for years and finding your long-lost little pet ant "Walter" jammed between pages 17 and 18.... so that`s what happened to him.

Thanks Elvis News!! e-books can only grow in importance as more and more fans switch on to the online (rather than hard copy) world.

I think something will be lost if there's a switch to ebooks

I think it's a different experience in your brain to receive information that is the light source (tv, computer screens) and something that's reflected light (books, movie theatre)

and the tactial experience of holding and touching the book, turning the pages, doesn't compare to clicking to change the page.
