as a fan for 40 years i have collected much -books, lp's concert footage on vhs , and photos , mags, etc but i have always bin disinterested in the stuff that E.P.E. produce like key chains , cups etc , i would rather have the latest boot cd =live performance and great photo books from various publishers , so what do you collect and why and do you agree with me that the greatest part of his legacy that he left us was his music and films? Do you hate the stuff that E.P.E. puts out and find it real tacky at times.

Pretty much anything I can get my hands on.
When I was younger, I would spend every cent of my allowance and paychecks on anything I could find that was Elvis, but mainly I would concentrate on the music - LP's, 45's, CD's and videos. But once I got married and started a family, I had to be much more selective in my spending on Elvis memorabilia.
These days, I still try and collect as much of the music side of Elvis collecting as possible - the CD's and DVD's mainly with the occasional LP or 45 being added to the collection. As for books, it really depends on the book. All of the other stuff is really pick and choose, whether I like it or not and if I have the extra money for it.

Anything Elvis, Joan Crawford, or Lucille Ball. I want to find some Metropolis merchandise too but I mainly collect Elvis and Joan.

I am also more discriminating in what I get now, I have so many Elvis books that I tend to only do themed ones rather than general.
