I went straight to the Jesse D Presley part.
I didnt know that his mum wasnt married and used her maiden name for her kids. The things you learn!!

I looked into my family tree a while ago. It's such an interesting thing to do if you have the time.
I only went back about 4 generations but I didn't know my grandfather (he died whilst my mum was pregnant with me) so to find out about him and his parents etc was fascinating.
It all started after watching the programme "Who Do You Think You Are" of course!!!
Yeh, true......all about time isn't it???
All I know is my maiden name originates from German roots............that's it!!!
I am Irish and my grandfather use to tell people that our family came over during the Irish pototoe famine-but he would add, it had something to do with a stolen horse
