Stranger things have happened. I know that people in the Elvis world who are famous, do look in on these Elvis groups and see what is being said.
As I have heard from them.
Usually I hear a lot of good, especially when the subjects are controlled, or rather the posters. Unmoderated comments are the worst nightmare in the world. Elvis would be shocked and angry I'm sure.

    Totally
Everybody gets banned at least once in their first month, until the other members are completely satisfied that they're not taking the p*ss
Why should Elvis be any exception?

I also suspect that a lot of the discussions we've had here on TCB-World wouldn't have taken place, if Elvis were still alive. TCB!

I bet his toes would curl up at some of the frank dissections of his personality/sexuality etc....

    Re: What would Elvis think?

First off, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my friends.

I don't think ELvis really understood he was Elvis. Let me explain it better. To Elvis, he was just a guy who could sing. If the circumstances were different, each of us would probably feel the same way. When he looked in the mirror in the morning, he just saw a guy. IF we looked into that same mirror with him, we would see ELVIS and all the hopes, dreams, and inspirations he represents to us. I don't think he ever understood how he inspired and created such emotion.

To know how much we as fans meant to Elvis, you only have to see the look on his face as he takes the stage. It was like he wondered if we loved him. Once he would hear the crowd cheer, he again knew he was loved and he would smile.

I think Elvis would be sitting with his lap top, reading the posts and taking what we say to heart. He would be surprised we spend so much time talking about him. He would be amazed we still love him after all this time. Most of all, I think Elvis would be smiling.
