i know how you feel, I get TCM, but I don't get the Biography Channel - and they show great Elvis stuff!

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

    Re: Elvis On TCM

I happened to turn on the TV in August when they played Elvis On Tour the last time. I had missed most of it, so I'm glad it will be coming back on TV. It was the original letterbox version with the 3 screens and it looked GREAT!

That is a digital channel so it looks good. I wish it was broadcast in HD because that would obviously be better.

I've got a Comcast DVR so I'll be recording it and burning a DVD of the broadcast afterwards. It sure will beat the copy I made from my video tape released in '97. That one as most of you know is only 1 screen at a time and is so sloppy, you can see the other screen bleeding over. TERRIBLE JOB!

My video tape from 1987 or so is just not in good shape. It looks bad and has bad spots. So this really is the best way to get the movie on DVD and fill in the gap in our collection until it's released for real.
