Elvis - The Jumpsuitology VOL 1
Elvis - The Jumpsuitology is the anthology of Elvis' stage outfits used during all the 1145 live appearances from 1969 to 1977. It is first ever comprehensive DVD project highlighting this aspect of Elvis’ career. The producers spent several months on research and obtaining materials, and then spent more than 250 hours in a professional studio for restoration and putting the DVD together. The first volume of the DVD focuses on the years 1969 - 1972. There’s brief, but relevant information on each concert tour, as well as the Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe engagements, all followed by specially assorted good quality photos of the jumpsuits used for each tour or engagement. There are more than 250 photos (some rare) of all the 110 versions of the suits, including the first 'Herringbone' and 'Cisco Kid' suits, the August '72 'Two - Piece' suits and all others.
The video section contains more than 30 rare clips (mostly 8 mm amateur footage) of Elvis on stage in different suits. Every piece of film was carefully selected, edited and professionally restored in a studio and every effort has been made to achieve the highest possible picture quality, nevertheless in few cases producers decided to use substandard quality material in order to maintain the integrity of the project.
Thanks Max for the information!!!
It certainly sounds like a neat video to check out...
