Hey Tommy, traditional in my house, turkey, all the trimmings, church, wouldn't want it any other way, what about you?
Thought it would be nice to hear how you all celebrate Christmas.
I dream a world where man no other man
will scorn. Where LOVE will bless the earth
and peace its paths adorn...

We usually spend Christmas Eve at home, with the family. We go to the chapel (in our little village), have dinner...etc
But we get our presents in the evening of Dec. 24th (Not in the morning of Dec. 25th, like you do in the US)
And of course we have a christmas tree and lots of decorations and christmas carols. It's a very tradiotional thing, it's been like this ever since I can remember![]()
I'm the King of the Jungle, They call me Tigerman

I'm from a Mexican background, and my husband is of German background. We fused a couple of family traditions and created some new ones.
Midnight mass, and then Mexican food, tamales, rice, beans, pastries & because the kids couldn't wait, they each got to open one present that was from "Santa" wrapped in brown paper and hand decorated by the "Elves"
The next day it was ham or turkey and visitors popping in all day. The kids got to look for the Green Pickle ornament and whoever found it, got to open the "extra" present.
The kids always received money for Christmas from grandma, so we'd draw names and they got to go shopping the AfterChristmas sales and buy a present that we exchanged on King's Day, and that's the same day all the decorations came down.
Whoah! sorry to be so long winded!![]()
Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go
I try to celebrate Christmas with my off color favorite decor..of silver purple and gold and white.
Elvis Christmas music and the kids are gone...but now again a friend will show up. Otherwise I have a bunch of fur balls to keep me company, and they are very cute trying to take down my decorations which all have to be unbreakable.
I don't eat meat, but love to have egg nog, pies and will of course cook for a guest. I give my gifts well before Christmas and just enjoy the peaceful feeling of silent night.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (fun watching it snow from upstairs)![]()
