D.J. Fontana and Bill Black were finally both inducted into the Rock n' Roll hall of fame at last years ceremony.
I watched it on television.

So that petition is no longer needed.

I think D.J. Fontana and Bill Black eventually got inducted because several famous artists were lobbying the Rock n' Roll hall of fame for them to be inducted.
They had inducted Scotty Moore in 2000 and to be honest that's really when they all 3 should've been inducted together because if you induct Scotty for his contributions then you'd have to induct Bill and D.J.
The Rock n' roll hall of fame dropped the ball on that.
