I agree deb. The true story is probably something in the middle of the two.

The thing I always think is, if you were smart, and were going to write a book about your life, you wouldnt write all the positive bits and none of the negative bits would you. Because lets face it, no one is that good (or bad).

Therefore the book would have been more believable if there had been some negative points in.

I enjoyed both books; but as always I read everything and then form an opinion (as we all do) I dont believe everything I read. Child Bride did bring up a few interesting points whatever anyone thinks about it. and let's face it Teddy would try and prove Prissy innocent even if she did steal the crown jewels!!!!

In every book there's something true and something false...I have never read Childbride but sure Priscilla is not a saint as she always wants to appear....we also haven't the proof that she told all the truth in "Elvis and Me"...that's a very "partial" point of view of the story

molto bene u made some very good points..how do we know 4 sure cilla didint say those things...cant trust anyone anymore..i remember when she brought the participants of american idol a while back.. to visit elvis grave she was there ..she was stone cold no emotion what so ever.

This is true, reading books by MM, Cilla, Nurses, girlfriends, friends,Doc, etc etc....you take a grain of truth from them all...........somewhere there's a middle.

Giorgia...........it's been a long time.
She's moved on with her life, had relationships with other Men, another child..........

Anyone who watchs this movie and believes any of it has no idea who Elvis IS.... And if you really want to know the TRUTH at who Priscilla is read Child Bride , it tells the real truth of this women.... Let me say this, on the day they buried Elvis, Priscilla was heard telling her sister Michelle, upstairs at Graceland...She was wearing sunglasses at the time and she said, " Everybody thinks that I'm crying behind these sunglasses.. They don't know that I'm really laughing.." Read the book, learn the truth , THE REAL TRUTH......

For the record I would believe nothing Suzanne Finstad says she's nothing but an Albert Goldman wannabe the only difference is Goldman actually wrote books about celebrities who actually had large fanbases and a lot of the info is his book was actually correct though presented in a negative way.
