Thread: I´ve seen "Live a little, love a little"!!!

  1. #1

Talking I´ve seen "Live a little, love a little"!!!

Like I already wrote in an other thread: I´ve ordered "Live a little, love a little". My grandpa paid it. It actually was my Christmas present, but I was lucky enough to get it already today!!! And I´ve seen it a few hours ago for the first time. And I thought I could write a little bit about it:

I enjoyed the whole movie, from the first second to the last. I was eating some chocolate when I was watching the movie and I almost choked on a piece of chocolate, when Elvis said to Bernice: "Is this your horse?"

And then later Bernice was cooking something and said to Elvis: "To you think there´s too much garlic in it?" and after he trys it she calls: "Albert, your lunch is ready!" Albert is a funny dog. He´s especially very funny in Elvis´ nightmare, where he walks on two legs and talks.

Bernice is very funny, too. She tries to get Elvis with all tricks. And who´s seen the movie knows exactly what I mean!
And I like the showering scene very much, too. It´s funny how she teases Elvis.

And it´s my favourite from now on & forever!!! It´s the perfect movie for me. Even though it has only four songs, I don´t miss any songs of it. The scenes fill the emptyness that are in other Elvis movies. From the kind of humor it reminds me of "Speedway", but it´s much better than that. It´s different than other Elvis movies I´ve seen before.
I mean it´s seems real. The story of the movie seems like a real life. And even the songs fit better in it than in other movies.

I just want you all to know what I think about "Live a little, love a little" & I want people who haven´t seen it to know that it´s a great movie. And that it´s really worth buying it. At least that´s my opinion. But I can not say that everyone likes it, I guess. But I´m sure that every girl that loves Elvis really enjoys to watch that movie.

And I would like to know what you other think of the movie.
Wow, that´s a great movie!!! I love Elvis

(And an other thing: Someone wrote Elvis would have sex in the movie, but he doesn´t have it in the movie. And I don´t really think that Albert is Elvis´ dog Brutus, even though he looks like him.)

So what do YOU think of the movie? Do you like it as much as I do? I love it.

I have seen it a few times and I have it on DVD...well...it is not the best Elvis movie I have seen...I don't hate it...but i don't like it either. But I have laughed each time I have seen it. lol. I think I won't watch for a while...i remember it a quite well.

I love the part where Elvis sings "Edge of reality"...it is one of my favourite movie songs.

I always have a good laugh when Elvis was in the shower in this movie... I dunno why...a quite funny part.

I would say...there are better Elvis movies than this one

I wish there was a choice somewhere between I hated it, and I liked it.

I can't really cast a vote. I thought it was a weak story, and he did
the best he could with it. I don't hate it, but there are at least 27 of
    the others I'd watch first.

While I like it it's not my favorite. I'll just say it's a very interesting movie.

Wonderful news (well I care, lol)! I've watched the first ten minutes of "Live a Little, Love a Little". I was laughing, enjoying the movie thoroughly, some of the lines, were really funny, hehe. I like Michele Carey's acting so far, too.

Sigh..........that was it, ten minutes that I happened to be lucky enough to find! lol

    Oh well.........

Well I have it on video and watched it few times. I like it. Not his best movie ever but it is quite funny. He acts with ease and most of all it's not done in the typical Elvis movie formula.
So it's a good one and you won't regret to watch it.

Thanks Nicole, as is the way, I found an article that says the opposite! lol

    http://www.elvispresley.com.au/elvis...a_little.shtml

I had at look at Albert on Youtube, comparing the photo with Lisa and Brutus, the colour of the camera film could be a major factor to, as it may not be correct (where is my magnifying glass, lol). I thought that Brutus' coat looked lighter than Alberts'. I was also looking for what looked like a mole on Albert's face, to see if Brutus had one, too. What do you think?

    Take care
    Kim
