At the end of the day, it's just the latest bit of entertainment for people who can never know enough about Elvis. Why not get a little more psychoanalytical on our a$ses this time? Makes a change from the usual he said, she said rhetoric.
And it's not like we're obliged to believe a word of it, anyway. The sources are mainly anecdotal but probably very entertaining along the way. I can't wait!

I just think this is a bad move and Alanna is going down the wrong path

Peter Withmer's book was full of mistakes and errors and was criticized by others.
I just think like his previous book his opinions will be wrong and it's not really needed in this type of book.

I am a little confused-no one is saying this gentleman is trying to
"meet nor treat" anyone. Hes giving an opinion-just as you are giving an opinion and I am giving an opinion.
You think his previous book was full of mistakes and errors-perhaps not all who read it came to that conclusion-would you agree on that?
I think its just another person giving his thoughts from his point of expertise.
I do not think it will make or break the book-its just another opinion-which is taken with a grain of salt.

Exactly-its not like he is breaking the oath of patient/doctor confidence-or giving out medical secrets from his files for a live patient-just opinion based on second hand information good and bad.

Precisely! Not having Elvis as his personal patient is the very thing which enables him to do the book!

I imagine they're hoping to do a formal UK launch later in the year, and to maximize their sales position in the early weeks they don't want the most reliable element of their market to have already sourced it elsewhere or the figures won't look as good

Donut.... i bought mine from amazon.co.uk... but it wasn't actually amazon, it was a different seller. They must have gotten it from the USA but it was delivered really quickly, i got in the post today! can't wait to read it!
