New Alanna Nash book update #1: Alanna Nash's new book, Baby, Let's Play House: Elvis Presley and the Women Who Loved Him, is due out the US in early January 2010. Alanna has told EIN that she is currently making her final corrections to the manuscript and clarified that the alternate listing on Amazon UK (Elvis and His Women, 320 pages) was based on a preliminary title for the release and before the final number of pages was known. The actual page number is a mammoth 704 pages! Alanna also had this to say about Baby, Let's Play House:

"Even after writing three previous Elvis-related books, I am still astonished by the depth of his story. And in telling it largely through the eyes of the women who knew and loved him, platonically as well as romantically, it nearly takes on a different shape and tone. I have been amazed by that, and gotten to know him better."

I hear what you're saying Diane, but since Cybil is such a willing fountain of information on the subject, and one of the very few women claiming to have experienced actual coitus with Elvis, it seems unlikely that she won't feature in the book at all.

That's the truth.....She'd certainly spice it up wouldn't she with her exaggerations on how important she was to his sexual education. The woman has no class or self esteem at all.

An individual with so much to tell on the subject would be difficult for any investigative author to ignore, but I'm inclined to trust that Alanna will only provide a platform for Cybil which is proportionally reflective of her significance in the bigger picture.

What annoys me about her is that she tells the same stories over and over about Elvis that exposes the fact that she didn't know him that well or date him for as long as she claims.

Yet everytime she's interviewed she'll bring it up and you'd think by now the interviewers would say ''Shut up Cybill we've heard the story before''

I must admit to me her story was interesting to hear the first time even if it was untrue, but not now and I'll guarantee Alanna Nash will interview her and she will tell Ms.Nash the same story we've all heard before.

She could at least make up some new stories to entertain us more.

You also never heard Cybill say anything about Elvis when her career was going good with that t.v. show she had.
