How do you rate my different takes of Mystery Train - Tiger Man?

    Hey everybody!

Now y’all need to give your opinion on this – and don’t be mad for recording such material. When one reaches this certain age you just need to spend your time playing old man’s music – I didn’t mean nothing by it..

Well the thing is – I had recorded this medley before and it was rather slow, so I recorded a faster take in August. The rhythm turned out okay, but with my previous sound system it was heard to discern the vocal part. Having tried to solve being inaudible I recorded a more rudimentary take with fingerstyle.

Now you have to tell me the following:

    • How do the rhythmic solutions work out and which do you prefer? (don’t compare it to Elvis’ work, as I don’t want an impersonation or imitation – just tell me what you like)
    • Are the vocal parts audible on both takes (or not)?

Have a nice day TCB-babies (term of endearment)!

The decision is yours – you have to decide!

The older but faster & rocking take:

or… the more recent slower, dragging, bluesy take:

Well, to my ears both versions are great music indeed.
Both are worth it to listen to. So I can't tell you which one I would prefer
They are on the same level for me.

I understood the vocal parts in both versions.

    To summarize it:
I really like both versions. I can't decide which could be my favourite.
And GREAT WORK man, great work.
