This is an interesting article. Really no comparison, I like your reply to the article Brian. There is a guy that wants to argue with you that Elvis doesn't have the most worldwide #1's. I know Elvis has 112 worldwide hits, what artist is next with the most worldwide #1’s? How far ahead is Elvis on that list?

To me it doesn't really matter whether artists today break his records.......he's not here to record anymore songs.

The thing which I think is the point.......Is he will always be THE Icon that all comparisons are made against. Nobody will be discussed/dissected etc etc.... 35 years after they are gone........No-one

Will we talk about Lady Ga Ga, Mariah, Rihanna..........no I don't think so

I agree every artist is compared to Elvis' career. That's when they know they have moved up high in the history books when their career is compared to Elvis'.
