    Beware of another fake TCB

    A word of warning for fans that may be tempted by the low buy-it-now price on eBay (US $4,250.00). Up for sale is a TCB necklace, supposedly sold by Charles Stone and authentified by Lamar Fike. This TCB however, is not authentic. The clasp in the middle is a giveaway. All the original TCB necklaces came without a clasp. Why Lamar decided to write a COA to a fake item, is a puzzle to us

    Just asking, it may be fake, but how do you know that the Chain wasn't just replaced , and the TCB medallion isn't authentic? I have something I've
    worn for the last 20 years, I've broken the chain once and had it repaired and later replaced the chain for one I liked better but my Medallion is the same one.

    You could very well be right JDD...

    But if that is the case, I would think that it would be noted in the item description on eBay that the chain was a replacement and the pendant was the original...

    You never know about Elvis items on eBay...

    My question is...The TCb necklace i bought across the street from Graceland had clasp(s) Everyone of them had clasp? You mean the were made to just to fit over your head with no clasp? I'm confused as usual

    I think what Jen was saying is that the clasp on an authentic TCB necklace is different in style/appearance than the one in the auction, which is what leads her to believe that it is a fake TCB...

    Yes, made to fit over your head with no clasp, I have some jewelry like that. The chain is all one piece.

    REALLY???

    I did not know that....so all of the TCB's that Elvis had made up were designed with no clasp? I just figured the clasp on an original TCB was different than the one pictured in the auction listing...
