I'm planning to be in Memphis for Elvis 75 Birthday, January 2010
I'd like to go to Presley Place too (Lisa Marie Charity Foundation).
Does somebody know the adress and how to reach it from Graceland???

You can tour the place. They are very nice people there and love to show the place off. Be careful in the area though - pretty bad area.

A lot of people have said to me about Memphis being quite rough. I have to say though, I felt ever so safe there, in all areas. Of course, it pays to be careful on holiday always though.

Really, that's interesting. I love that the place is 100%! That's my term for charities that will receive every penny I donate. don't know how they manage, but it makes me proud to know this is truly an Elvis inspired charity.
There's more than a few charities that don't even get 50% of the money you donate after 'administrative costs' are applied.
