Christmas songs.
Since it is only about 6 weeks untill christmas and it happens to be one of my favourite times of the yearI have been listening to Elvis christmas songs and getting all excited
Do any of you have a favourite Elvis christmas song....I do
It as to be "Blue Christmas" I just love everything about the song.
Others favourites are.....
I' ll be home for Christmas
White Christmas
And the great rocking song "Santa bring my baby back to me"
And one for my kids "Here Comes Santa Claus"
I wonder if EPE would ever consider releasing one of Elvis' songs for Christmas like "Blue Christmas"

Well, and actually just about every X-mas song our man did
My favourite is Holly leaves and christmas trees. It's just so gentle and makes me feel so like christmas. The alt. take is also very good. To bad we have only 5 alt. takes form the christmas songs.
I like "If I Get Home On Christmas Day" very much. Beautifully sang by Elvis and great work of the band.
"Santa Claus Is Back in Town" just kicks ***. I love it.
And "Blue Christmas" is really a classic.
Its Holly Leaves and Christmas Trees for me too....thats far and a way my favourite....even though i do like all Elvis' christmas music.
Also have a soft spot for Santa Claus is back in town....If i get home on christmas day and It won't seem like christmas without you......

mmm lets see...i enjoyed his "Blue Christmas" and Santa Claus is back in Town...but i enjoy the most Miracle Of The Rosary....... even that song is not christmas song but still good to listen for such special occasion..

Silent Night. Probably my favourite Christmas song even when Elvis isn't singing it, but Elvis' version is fantastic. Merry Christmas Baby is a classic performance too, as are Blue Christmas and I'll Be Home for Christmas. A weird observation here; does anyone else hear the influence of Bing Crosby in in Here Comes Santa Claus? It's particularly obvious in the "down Santa Claus lane" lines.

Love his christmas songs. Espacially Merry Christmas baby and Santa Claus is back in town. Denny, I think it is a great idea if FTD would make a cd with alternate christmas songs

my favorite christmas songs from elvis are, blue cristmas santa clause is back in town,santa bring my baby back, merry christmas baby,i'll be home on dhristmas day,holly leaves and christmas trees, and elvis does a great job on silent night.
Love the Christmas feel and I especially love "Blue Christmas", "If everyday was like christmas" and "Santa claus is back in town".
I think that there has been a move in recent years to move away from making decent Christmas songs in the UK it always seems to be love songs by boy bands, we could do with a novelty Christmas record or something that at least implies that it is a least a Christmas song.
