Those books were about two ladies that were in a romantic relationship with Elvis and Yes, they did talk about their sex life with him but neither book was entirely about it only a small portion.
When I said books entirely devoted to the subject I meant things like the Girls guide to Elvis and others.
That books is all about Elvis sex life and I bet a lot of it is untrue.
Could be
Most Elvis books don't sell much anyway.
You know when that Byron Raphael guy was making up stories for Playboy magazine. a lot of Elvis fans were outraged and wrote letters to Playboy and Elvis related websites and rightly so.
My view is you've got to stand up against this sort of thing.
EPE should do it because they are suppose to protect Elvis image but they do nothing.
So that leaves the fans.
Yes, as we know, any public protest then the book sells more, for EPE to do that, the book would be a best seller - they are being smart in my opinion.
That's when the fans should say things on these type of sites, which we do.
Byron was some guy that was totally jealous, (or lived vicariously through the thought of Elvis' life as his own) if I recallSo many like that.
smart arse me luckily i haven't read any of those![]()

I don't recall EPE ever standing up for Elvis over the playboy articles on any websites.
I know Marty Lacker, Lamar Fike and George Klein issued statements but not one from EPE.
I think they should have put up a statement on one of the Elvis fan site or something.
Where were all of Elvis girlfriends that are alive they could've issued statements on Elvis sites.
In Joyce's book she talks about their first night together not in great detail though and in Priscilla book didn't she talk about Elvis not wanting to sleep with her after she had Lisa?I have read both books and as far as i can remember there was nothing i read that was really giving anything away about there sex lives with elvis. (elvislady)
It's not how much detail is revealed it's that it was at all. I tend to think Elvis would not like his private life being exposed.
I just think some things don't need to be spoken about in the press and then to millions of people.

I never looked for trouble but I never ran.
I respect peoples opinions but its the way of the world we live in... if elvis was alive today the press would be even worse than they were years ago... they dont care who they upset.. i could see your point if every detail of a night with elvis was splashed all over the papers... the only one person who i thought was disrespectful to elvis sexual performance was cybil sheaperd.. lets not go there!

To be perfectly honest I believe that Elvis probably didn't sleep with as many people as is rumoured. I bet their are a lot of women who spent the night and just talked who have exaggerated their claims
I also believe that Elvis himself had a sense of propriety that he didn't share with the guys and perhaps he exaggerated his claims
I believe Elvis bedded his fair share of beauties in the 50's, however by the 60's & 70's he would have chosen those who he trusted and these would have been fewer and further between.
Lastly I also think that Elvis would have been more than a little bit weary of those who would have gotten pregnant.. By accident of course![]()
