why didn't Elvis have more kids

I agree with Getlo, he just never had the chance after Cilla. I believe his lifestyle/state of mind was too messed up after 1973 to even think about more kids.

On the EBTP dvd when Elvis was talking about kids, to me it definitely sounded like he didnt want his child to be an only-child.

I agree, it wasn't the cause of the break-up for sure but it may have been another reason why the two of them didn't mesh emotionally.

Elvis wasn't the family guy at all. Although I think that he loved and needed his family, he surely wasn't a father figure at all. He basically wanted to live his old life as a free man and date as many women he wanted and be with whomever he liked. And that is something one should not do as a father and married man. It wasn't his lifestyle.

I think Elvis did want several children when he was younger but as his life went on even before his marriage, I think his lifestyle pretty much put that out of his mind.

He did get a lot of pleasure when he and Priscilla had Lisa but he really didn't have time for a family anymore.
