Where Elvis fans meet....

This is one of those times when I just know I`m going to annoy somebody.... But I`ve just got to get this one out before it drives me crazy!!......
Having been an Elvis fan before the internet took off I was pretty amazed with everything I found once I bought a computer and got hooked up to the world-wide-web..... very surprised and very pleased when I found this site...a place filled with like-minded people who all shared my love of Elvis and his music.... but,well...I`ve got a bit of a complaint!... Bear with me!!!!....
Is it really neccessary to have what,it seems to me,are peoples entire personal playlists from hits of the `80s to the psychadelic wonders of the `60s??? Surely all these videos could be gathered together in one thread....rather than have to pass entire queues of them while looking for Elvis-related material. This is nothing against people who from time to time find interesting little things and share them....we all do that...and get heaps of fun from it.....but surely not entire cartloads of non-Elvis music......after all this is a place where "Elvis fans meet"....nothing bad-natured intended towards the people who might do this,there are plenty reasons for everything that happens..... just could we please maybe contain them in one place? That`s the end of my moaning!!!

I think that you said this very nicely, I don't have a problem with it at all..I acutally agree with what you are saying... It seems off topic subjects are bad enough, it just makes us human and tells a bit about our lives.. but the music.. the entertainers who are not Elvis, I could definately live without on this site! It's about ELVIS and should really be kept that way.

I think this is one for the mods to answer, i dont agree that we should stick to elvis only, i think if this happend you would only get people logging in and out just to check whats going on.. not everyone adds comments to elvis threads or they dont feel that have anything to say...i feel it owuld be a less friendly forum if there was no off topic! my opinion.

I agree with you 100% Of course this is an Elvis site, but without off topic threads, it would get a little bit boring here. And I am not saying that Elvis topics are boring.

I'm guilty of posting off topic 80's musicBut, it is "off Topic":, and Elvis is our main topicI personally enjoy seeing other people videos on other topics. It doesn't take away the fact i searched Elvis 99% of the time

That's why we have the off-topic section for other topics not related to Elvis, it adds to the site. I am sorry if you don't approve. I think folks enjoy our off-topic section, it can be very interesting.
