(Blackmore - Gillan - Glover - Lord - Paice)
Sweet child in time
you?ll see the line
line that?s drawn between
good and bad
see the blind man
shooting at the world
bullets flying taking toll
If you?ve been a bad
oh Lord I bet you have
and you?ve not been hit
by flying led
you?d better close your eyes
you?d better bow your head and
wait for the ricochet

- Lyrics of most beautiful song in rock music ever!!!

I am, Peter, but not for long. I'll be 30 in 15 days.

Stefan, it's a little early for you to be sweating the 3-0 mark, doncha think?
...you won't forget me when I go.

Guys and Gals - he only asked who is under 30 - most of you have incriminated yourselves, by answereing negatively-

.. shall we start a thread on how many are over 60 ? ( PS I'm not! )

I'm 28..... but it seems like I've been in a coma for the past 5 years. Those years felt like months

I must say that I'm quite 'afraid' for becoming 30. I mean, I feel much younger and that new age puts a stamp on you. Well, it's more like society puts a stamp on 30.

Ha, i got that same problem, i'm almost 32...and some kid called me a old fool the other day, cause i said something to him, thats when i got that feeling, man i getting old now... but i feel like 18
But it's still funny when people ask me what kind of music i like, and i reply: i like Elvis. Than the next question is, the guy is dead, why fan of a dead atist? i simply say: the man made the coolest and the best music in his living days, and today it still is one of the best music around, not to dated like the beatles or any other act from that period! And than they say: that they really like ALLC and Rubberneckin' and never tought he made that kind of music. They only know him from the ballads and the early songs, like, Jailhouse en Hound Dog ect..
I always try to give him a cd-r with the coolest music from him, like the '69 sessions. And we have a computer system in our reastaurant/cafe with lot of Elvis music ( specially for me) and play them some tunes, like: Stranger in my own home town, Only the strong survive, Polk salad annie (this one is cool..is the reaction). And the really are blown away with this songs..maybe they gonna buy some cd's after listing to this songs..
If they do that i'm always a happy man
Have a good day, boys and girls..

Yeah, it's striking when people say what songs they know from Elvis. It's always the young Elvis. I believe there's a huge market to conquer for FTD/BMG/EPE when they would use much more of the post-1966 Elvis.

You hardly see pictures from after-1966 (besides sometimes pictures of '68 Comeback special, TTWII and Aloha). All the best-of albums are the same and always use pictures of Elvis in his twenties. But most of the new Elvisfans prefer the Elvis ?fter his twenties! So it seems like the new fans and EPE/BMG are on a different level....

Your right Albert, I?m 30 years old and I?ve noticed that to. All over sudden people started calling me ?Sir? and a few weeks ago some kinds from my neighbourhood called me a old man. It?s really embarrassing and incorrect.
Perhaps you need to invest in some "Oil Of Olay" Unchained?
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
