Besides Elvis what music do you listen to?

Some of the music I hear is Buddy Holly,Roy Orbision,Johnny Cash,Jerry Reed any of the classic stuff. I don't listen to any music from the 90's or the 00's it is all oldies for me.

Sooooooooo much, anything and everything. Whatever takes my fancy, has a good beat, is deep, or fun, melodic, calming. I'll play a song with lyrics, or an instrumental, or Classical, over and over to death, or just be happy with once, somehow saving some of the lyrics (or the beautiful melody) in my mind, until the thought of some words, or mood hits me. Long term bands, one hit wonders, Classical, Hard Rock, Country, Spiritual, Gospel, with anything and everything in between. I would have forgetten something

We enjoyed Lionel Richie in Concert when he visited Australia, he's a fun entertainer. Lionel joked with the men who accompanied their wives/partners in the audience, by empathising with them. Lionel said he understands that they probably don't want to be there, and that they, having to listen to "lovey dovey' music, probably don't find it enjoyable. Lionel informed the men, that they'd be very happy; however, when the night is over, when they go home, with their loved partner, to be alone, lol, with the music still in "her" ears, lol. He joked around a lot, I really enjoyed his humour.

It's easier to say I don't listen to gangsta rap - metal rock - where the guys are screaming the lyrics, and I don't care for fusion jazz, I like classical music but not requiems - other than that most anything goes.
I really like Maroon 5 and BonJovi right now - but that will change!

I would have to say that Robert Palmer is my second favorite artist. The man was so versatile, singing reggae, R&B, Rock. Love his music.
