This is just very sad to me...how can a doctor be so hard faced to sell these things and actually get away with it..he should have just took off the labels burnt them and htrew away the pots, instead he has made thousands out of elvis death!

I wonder how long this money is going to last him? I'm always surprised when people who have a lot of money to begin with suddenly are broke? Too high living and no investments?

    Here's some hopeful thinking -

EPE spent a small sum of money to get rid of that cr*p once and for all.

Invitations to the bonfire will be forthcoming.

The only thing on that list I would have considered a bid on would have been
the Business Card. I think buying the other things borders on morbidity.

Why would you assume Dr Nick had a lot of money, then or now?

Perhaps, but there's nothing wrong with a little morbidity now and then.

I would've gone as high as, say, AUST$50 for one of the pill bottles myself.

I dont know about now, but then I would say he would have been on the end of some generous gifts courtesy of Elvis...

Ordinary doctors' salaries in this country border on the ridiculous so I did assume that a doctor who catered to the stars (many stars) would make even more.

It's just a reality that Elvis took these pills and it was a part of his life. People love Elvis and some have the money to pay $3,750.00 for something most would say, "We know Elvis took pills but I need to invest my own financial security before I provide one for Dr.Death, oops, I mean, Dr.Feelgood"

I don't care if they auction off Elvis' medicine, I once saw an old auction add for a tile Elvis walked on in a recording studio and I don't think it would have bothered Elvis, if his family and friends made money off of him, cause that was the case while he was alive but it just makes me sick that a man that helped Elvis' health go down the drain and tried to use Elvis and his name to build a chain of Racquetball courts is still riding,"The Elvis Gravy Train."

One thing just occurred to me...why does Dr. Nick have all these bottles? If they were prescriptions for Elvis, why weren't they in Elvis' possession? My doctor doesn't get my empty prescription bottles.....

And as far as the bag goes, that was Dr. Nick's not Elvis' so why would anyone want to pay so much for a bag belonging to Dr. Nick?

I guess since he was supposed to control the amount of pills Elvis was allowed to take it was Dr Nick who kept the bottles, so maybe those bottles never were in Elvis possession to start with

I think that is highly likely.

That's just plain odd to me but then nothing about Elvis' life was normal....
