    Miley Cyrus would stand in the rain for Elvis

    During an interview on The Today Show this morning, teen star Miley Cyrus talked with Matt Lauer about the incredible crowd that had braved the rain all night long just to see her.

    When he asked her if there was any artist that she would stand in the rain for a chance to see, she said Elvis.

    Thanks for posting, I liked all the influences she mentioned,Elvis & Joan Jet, but was never impressed by Janice, cept for the once hit,"take another little piece of my heart".
    Once she's an adult she might produce a mature respectable CD.

    I think her popularity will fade once she gets out of her teenage years.
    A lot of her fans right now will probably outgrow her and some won't even admit to liking her as they get older.

    A lot of her fanbase is the pre-teen audience.

    I gotta hand it to her though she's had a longer career than her one hit wonder father Billy Ray Cyrus.
    Well, Billy Ray Cyrus also had that family show Doc that ran successfully on t.v. for a few years.

    Janis Joplin is one of the most overrated singers of all time imo.
