I think her popularity will fade once she gets out of her teenage years.
A lot of her fans right now will probably outgrow her and some won't even admit to liking her as they get older.
A lot of her fanbase is the pre-teen audience.
I gotta hand it to her though she's had a longer career than her one hit wonder father Billy Ray Cyrus.
Well, Billy Ray Cyrus also had that family show Doc that ran successfully on t.v. for a few years.
Janis Joplin is one of the most overrated singers of all time imo.
She is an acquired taste, to be sure.
She is also widely acknowledged as one of the finest blues singers in history, and certainly the finest white female blues singer ever.
She's my favourite female singer. And when she's on stage rocking out, she is as sexy as hell.
